Last night a man was attacked in Washington, D.C. for being openly gay and holding hands with his partner. His jaw was shattered in three places, and is now in critical condition; fighting not only for his life, but for his right to love. You see, love comes at no cost. It won’t hit you, push you down or make you weak. It’s like the wind - there, always - strong and proud. Ready to take you up like a kite to see all and for all to see. So whenever you see this flag, think not just of the Mo’s of the world, but ALL those who deserve love…and that’s each of us.
